Itinerary

Day 1 ARRIVE ZURICH AND HEAD TO INTERLAKEN, SWITZERLAND

Upon your arrival into Zurich Airport, make your way to Zurich Airport railway station (Bahnhof Zurich Flughafen). The station is located underneath the Airport Centre, the main ground-side passenger terminal of the airport, which is in the canton of Zurich and the municipality of Kloten. With help of your 6 Days consecutive Swiss Pass you will board a train onto Interlaken. (Travel time of approx 2.5 hrs with one change)
On arrival at Interlaken station transfer on your own to hotel and check in. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Welcome to Interlaken, this Swiss town nestled between glacier-fed lakes, exploring on the water, in the mountains or even in the air reveals a region rich in natural beauty — and it’s open to beginners and intrepid adventurers alike.Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 2INTERLAKEN: | BOLLYWOOD TOUR OF GSTAAD & SAANEN |

Breakfast at the hotel. Don’t miss this opportunity to reminiscence with iconic movies shot in Gstaad & Saanen. This morning travel by train to Gstaad, one of the most attractive holiday regions in the Swiss Alps. This car-free resort is surrounded by mountains on three sides, but still enjoys a spacious and sunny setting at 1,050m.
Every year thousands of people from all over the world visit Switzerland and a vast majority of those tourists are people from the Indian subcontinent. But apart from that there is one very important thing that has influenced every one of us – the ones who grew up on the staple diet of Bollywood, SRK and the nostalgia of the 90’s, to visit the nation.
On arrival in Gstaad you will meet with a representative who will take on a “Bollywood Tour”. Gstaad region is known as one of the most scenic natural film sets in the world. Many Bollywood blockbusters have been filmed here, such as “DDLJ”, “Bachana Ae Haseenno” and many more. You will travel to Saanen region which embodies Bollywood!
The next destination, Saanen was the iconic DDLJ bridge which is situated right next to the railway station. Raj and Simran aka SRK and Kajol have glorified this place with their famous “Palat” scene from the movie. Give it a try to see if the magic still prevails. Overnight in Interlaken (B)

Day 3INTERLAKEN: FREE DAY |TOP OF EUROPE EXPERIENCE|

Breakfast at the hotel. Free to explore this vibrant city on your own. You can opt to visit the famous mountain: Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe experience (Optional activity)
Icy air sweeps over your face, snow crunches underfoot, and the panorama almost takes your breath away: on one side the view of the Swiss Mittelland towards the Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier, lined with four thousand metre peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch 3,454 metres above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It’s one you have to experience.
Later, do stop by for a visit to Harder Kulm (Optional activity)
If Interlaken had a king, he would reside on the Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level he would graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. In fact, the Harder Kulm Panorama Restaurant is reminiscent of a castle. In order to visit it, however, you don’t need to be a king – just take a seat in the funicular and ascend Interlaken’s own mountain. Last ride down to Interlaken OST is approx 21:00 hrs.Overnight in Interlaken (B)
